NIGHT OF SPEEDWAY FOR A TENNER!

Track action returns to Beaumont Park on Saturday after a three week break and the meeting features one of the National League’s powerhouse sides, the Cradley Heathens against a Lions team.

There is a real Leicester flavour on both sides who will be competing for the Ivor Brown Trophy. Josh Bates will captain Leicester and he will be partnered by locally based Chris Widman who rides for the Isle of Wight.

Other Leicester connections include Richard Hall who was the first captain in the new era of the Lions and locally born Luke Woodhull who now rides for the Belle Vue Colts.

Meanwhile Cradley have Max Clegg and Tom Perry who rode for the Lions in their first year in the Elite League. On top of that Danny Ayres will be racing against Leicester and it will be the first opportunity for Lions fans to watch him after he delivered a career best performance for the club on Monday at Rye House.

So there is plenty of interest for both sets of fans with an entrance price of just £10 for adults. Normal prices for children apply.
